The Churn Community Hub runs parenting courses using the Togetherness: The Solihull Approach Method. This is about developing emotional health and wellbeing for all children, their parents, carers and grandparents. It focuses on sensitive relationships, early years support and understanding brain development to help nurture kind, emotionally aware children as they grow.
Our Family Support Workers use the Togetherness Approach to support the families that we work with on a day to day basis. We primarily focus on relationships, because they shape who we are and are key to our development as human beings. The training encourages parents and gives them the frameworks, tools and strategies to manage their children’s behaviour and help them develop better relationships with their children.
