Roz Savage MP leads the way for very first Walk the Churn fundraising walk this Saturday

Roz Savage MP will be joining over 120 people this Saturday to walk 25km on a brand-new fundraising walk to celebrate Cirencester charity The Churn Community Hub’s 25th Anniversary.

On Saturday, 9th May, walkers will Walk the Churn setting off between 8am and 9am from Seven Springs near Cheltenham and heading to the finish line at the charity’s offices in The Waterloo, Cirencester, following the route of the River Churn and passing through some of the Cotswolds’ most beautiful scenery.

Roz Savage, who is Patron of The Churn Community Hub will also be joined by Dame Fiona Reynolds DBE, the new High Sheriff of Gloucestershire and the CEO of The Churn Sarah Bourne alongside walkers, families and lots of dogs!

All funds raised from the event will go directly to support the work of The Churn Community Hub which supports anyone in Cirencester and surrounding villages who is at a point of crisis or transition in their lives or who is experiencing loneliness or mental health issues. Last year it directly supported over 1,700 people from across the community through a mix of group activities and one-to-one support.
