The Churn Community Garden coming soon…

We will soon be launching our new community garden which will transform underused land in Kingshill into a vibrant, welcoming green space for the local community to enjoy. The community garden will create a space where people can connect with nature and be part of a ongoing community project.

We are currently in the design stages of the Garden and are looking for it to support the community with a particular focus on older residents, young people and families. Plans include accessible raised planters and flexible spaces so that anyone can take part in gardening and outdoor activities. Alongside supporting physical and mental wellbeing, it will increase local biodiversity and help create a greener, healthier area for the whole community.

The Community Garden is being created and run by The Churn Community Hub with support from Cirencester Town Council’s Green Spaces Strategy Fund and by local construction company IC Groundworks who are providing support for free.

Our hope is to link with local volunteers, organisations and businesses as our plans develop so that the garden can become a useful addition to the community.

Check back to find out more about plans and our launch date. If you are an organisation or business that would like to get involved please call us to discuss.
